If it starts loud and ends quiet, say:
START FORTE, END PIANO
OR
If it starts quiet and ends loud, say:
START PIANO, END FORTE
and then say:
LEGATO or STACCATO

Hints and tips
- The dynamic describes how loudly or quietly the melody is played
- You need to say which dynamic is played at the start and at the end
- The melody will either:
Start loudly and end softly
OR
Start quietly and end loudly
- Say the word FORTE for loud
- Say the word PIANO for quiet
- The notes of the melody will also be played:
smoothly
OR
short and crisp
- If the notes flow smoothly say LEGATO
- If the notes are short and crisp say STACCATO
